Andoa by Berroco

Well, I succumbed to the sweater lady.  I cast on last weekend and began knitting andoa and I love it.  It is an easy pattern, lovely stitch grouping, and hopefully will turn out in the end.  I am just on the  back of the piece and I know that there is some stuff coming up that I have never done (like decreases and whatnot) so hopefully I will be able to figure it out.  Thankfully I have both MWK and Ravelry and the lady at the yarn store that talked me into doing this to help me if I need it.  So stay tuned, more pics as the progress goes on.

you're going to do fine - just move slow, ask questions and if you're unsure about how to decrease, ask someone and if you're really scared, you can practice on a swatch first... it's easy peasy though - VERY easy - and you're going to find out soon the secret to knitting is that it's not really difficult; we must only be passionate about what we create... you already have the technical ability to knit beautifully; that is proven by the sweater you are working on - can't wait to see how it looks done!

Looking good!

Increases and decreases are simple - just go to http://www.knittinghelp.com/ if your brain needs visual help to do it.

Your sweater looks great. Among a couple of other wips, I am also knitting this one, and the variety of stitches tends to make it look a lot more complex than it is. BTW I like the color you are using as well.
